First things first. All of the animals shown here are truly “wildlife” and were photographed in their native habitats; not behind bars, in cages or zoos. The presence of professional guides and gamekeepers made sure the animals were safe. Some of these animals were actually just a few feet away and wandering around me. Sometimes it’s difficult to concentrate on your settings and the shot, and still maintain your situational awareness.
